All right, the results are in.

As you know, I asked all  the members of the MBC to let me know if they were still interested in running with the league, not once, but twice. While yes, there is interest, it appears as if there is not enough interest. A chunk of the roster is gone and based on a few responses, there simply isn't a lot of energy or time to keep things up.  That's not necessarily a bad thing but it's something that I had to weigh in conjunction with other issues, both here in the now and coming down the line.

After a LOT of thought and inner dialogue, the conclusion I've come to is that it will be for the best to close the MBC down. I thought about going one more cycle but that seemed like it would be a very slow death for me and everybody else. I don't want to start something that ultimately may see no finish.

Now, if someone I trusted wanted to take up the mantle of the MBC, I would consider it. And I'd definitely help if it was so desired. But people willing to run a fed are few and far between.

I would like to thank everyone for their hard work since the MBC reopened in 2008. And it is truly my belief that SplatterNad 2009 was the best PPV or show that we've ever done. The vain side of me dares to say it's stuff of legend.

Could the MBC come back? Again? I won't rule it out. How many times has it come back in fifteen years? Exactly.

But for now, it's at the very least going into hibernation.

Thank you all for everything you've given

God bless,

Kyle Lee
